Protecting Our Smallest Heroes

Having a safe childhood free from sexual abuse is a basic human right, yet 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before they turn 18, according to the CDC.

Child sexual abuse does not discriminate by race, gender or socioeconomic background, but military children are at great risk due to the nature of one or both parent's military careers.

Preventing child sex abuse is an adult responsibility, yet we recognize that children have a right to know that their bodies belong to them. Sgt. BARK is a kid-friendly educational tool to help kids learn and understand their rights in an age-appropriate manner - and teaches them to speak up (BARK) if boundaries are crossed.

For just $15, one family can take the child sex abuse prevention training. For every 1 adult trained, it's estimated 10 children are saved. You can help create safer homes for children by donating just $15 today.

There are several ways you can get involved to create safer homes for children: donate, join the "Creating Safe Homes" Facebook group, take the training or organize a training at your base or in your community.

Our mission is to provide educational tools to prevent child sexual abuse, partner with international organizations and work with local and federal lawmakers to eradicate abuse at military bases worldwide.
